Finally... an acceptable thickness. I recently noticed (August 2015) almost all of the index card manufacturers like Oxford, Mead, Staples, Target, and such decided to make their index cards out of essentially a somewhat heavy paper stock and not card stock anymore. Why???? Did they think buyers wouldn't notice? They likely did it so save cost on their end so they could pocket extra money while trying to pass along an inferior product to consumers. An index card is supposed to be somewhat durable because it is likely going to be used often or carried in an environment where paper would get beat up. A heavy paper grade card is not acceptable for an index card. After a lot of research I decided to take a risk and buy these and I AM HAPPY. Yes, you have to buy a thousand but if you compare these cards on a per card cost basis to the other manufacturers you are paying within the range of LESS than 1 penny. For instance, Mead sells cards. Their price per card is .029 whereas Debra Dale Design's index card cost is .030! So there you go. Why would you pay for a paper thin "card" when you could have a real index card?

I never thought I'd be so happy about flash cards!
Wow! These are incredible. At first I thought the small size would be a problem but it actually makes everything easier. It saves a ton of space in my backpack. I love these tiny flash cards that you can put on metal rings to keep the stacks you make together. This is much better than the large flash cards in huge stacks that have to stay loose when you study. I like the fact that you can study with the small ones while they're on the metal ring and just flip each card around and let them fall when you're done with each one. The variety of colors is very important and very helpful for studying. I'll never go back to any other style of flash card.
Love this product. The cards were a little smaller than I had anticipated but they still work. Comes with one silver ring. I bought more as an additional purchase as I need them as flash cards for multiple subjects.

These are plain white blank cards, regular business card size. I spent days looking for such cards. Everyone sells them ... in letter-size sheets, all ready for printers to feed. I just wanted blank cards, not sheets of stuff I would have to tear apart to use! There are a zillion uses for these cards. Use 'em as bookmarks. Use 'em as note cards. Carry a few everywhere you go ... you never know when you'll want to drop someone a card that just says, "Call me Thursday, 5pm. 630-555-1657. Gina" Of course, that assumes that your name is Gina and that you're not just sliding a note into the jacket of someone at a business meeting. In an emergency, you could use a card to dislodge the bit of spinach that you can't get out of your teeth. Just keep some cards and a Sharpie and/or a Uni-ball pen handy and you're prepared for almost anything.
Bought these for my kindergartener to practice sight words. My daughter who attends college took half of them to help her with her studies. Glad I bought this large pack!
