How it works
How active recall works
Active recall means testing yourself from memory instead of rereading your notes. These mini cards are sized for quick, repeatable sessions.
- Turn notes into prompts. Write a question or prompt on one side of the card.
- Try to answer from memory. Look at the prompt and answer without peeking.
- Flip to check. Only after you have tried, turn the card over to check yourself.
- Repeat. Keep going until you can answer correctly, quickly and without hints.
