Active recall, made simple
Reading isn't remembering. Testing yourself is.
Rereading notes feels productive, but the information fades fast. Active recall makes your brain pull the answer from memory, and that's what makes it stick.
- Write the question or concept on the front.
- Write the answer on the back.
- Ring each subject so the right stack is always in your bag.
- Quiz yourself and flip the cards you know to the back of the ring.

FAQ
Questions before you buy
What size are these?
Each card is 2" x 3.5", the size of a standard business card. Cut to a uniform size, so you never have to cut your own.
How thick are they?
100# cover cardstock (271 gsm), our heaviest color card, and stiff enough to stand up to years of shuffling.
Will the edges show white?
No. The paper is solid core, so the color goes all the way through the card.
Why are there fewer cards in the box?
The heavier card is thicker, so 560 cards fill the same box that holds 1,000 or more of our lighter cards.
Do they come with rings?
Yes. Every box includes five 1.5" metal binder rings, and every card is already hole punched.
What should I write with?
Fine-point pens and pencils work best. We don't recommend thick markers.
Do you offer bulk pricing?
Yes. The 6-pack saves 23% and the 12-pack saves 25%, and both ship free. Large bulk orders may need up to 3 extra business days before shipping.
How do I use them for studying?
- Write a question or concept on one side.
- Write the answer on the back.
- Test yourself instead of rereading notes.
- Separate the cards you know from the ones you don't, and review the hard ones more often.
When will my order arrive?
We ship from California within 24–48 hours. Most orders arrive in 3–6 business days. Shipping is free on orders over $65, and $9.99 otherwise.
What if I'm not happy with them?
Contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll email you a prepaid return label, no questions asked. Refunds are processed once the return arrives. Full return policy.
